Djokovic) in June 2012. • The 26-year-old Nadal won his first indoor clay-court tournament as he improved to a 51-22 record in tour-level finals. • Second seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares captured their fourth ATP World Tour team title on Sunday as they edged third seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak. • Peya and Soares have compiled a 24-6 match record since making their team debut in Bastad last year. WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID Nadal: “It's very nice and important because at the end of your career what’s left are the titles, and depending on certain moments there are some titles that you appreciate very much. This one I appreciate it the most because of all the struggles I went through during the week, with some problems with my knee some days. "True, David didn’t play very well, but in general I played my best match of the week. I am very happy, to win in Brazil for the second time, it's wonderful. In 2005 it was the beginning of all these last beautiful years. I hope this will be a re-start. “Right now I am only focusing on celebrating today’s title. I am not in a position to think too far ahead; I need to think day by day, week by week. Let’s see how my knee feels in Acapulco. We will analyse at the end of this clay swing what happened in these last three tournaments and I will see if I am ready to play in Indian Wells.” Nalbandian: “I don’t think I played my best match of the week today. I think Rafa played better, he played deep. I was struggling to take the initiative during the points and although I had that lead in the second set, I couldn’t capitalise on it. “I feel good because after a long time not playing, I reached the final in Sao Paulo. In Buenos Aires the conditions are much different than here, the courts and conditions are much slower, the balls are heavier. So I need to adapt as soon as possible to try to play my best tennis at home.”

Mela: С титулом нас! Но тут в Давиде и не сомневалась, разозлил его брейк в третьем сете, и дальше все пошло по накатанной. А вообще рада на этом турнире за Томми, хоть и проиграл Ферреру легко - по счету, но игра мне понравилась. И то, что хоть несколько матчей подряд зарулил, тоже неплохо. Подавал хорошо, но концентрации не хватает ужасно, начинает торопиться и бьет в ауты.
Tatiana: Mela взаимно! да, турнир позитивный во многих смыслах. даже с учетом проигрыша Налбандяна - ведь уступил победителю турнира. хотя, конечно, с физикой надо что-то делать, чтоб так не разваливаться в 3-м сете.
Tatiana: у Давида 20 титул. это хорошая компания. Феличка выиграл 300-й матч в карьере. будем надеятсья, что 301 не заставит долго ждать
Mela: Tatiana 302-ая 301 уже была как раз вчера, а победа над Соком - юбилейной.
Mela: но пока что Фели что-то совсем плох, прошлые матчи играл намного активней. до конца матч, чувствую, не выдержу...

Tatiana: Copa Claro Buenos Aires, Argentina SUNDAY, 24 FEBRUARY, 2013 Singles - Final [1] D Ferrer (ESP) d [3] S Wawrinka (SUI) 64 36 61 SUNDAY REVIEW – FERRER RETAINS TROPHY; ITALIAN DUO WINS DOUBLES TITLE • World No. 4 David Ferrer successfully defended his title and in turn, lifted his 20th ATP World Tour trophy. • Ferrer won his 10th clay-court crown, moving into a third place tie with Nikolay Davydenko and Roger Federer among active players for the most titles on the surface. • Wawrinka was contesting his first ATP World Tour final since 2011, when he captured the title in Chennai. WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID David Ferrer: “I am very happy for this title. I cannot describe it with other words. It’s very hard to win back-to-back titles, and this tournament in Buenos Aires is always very tough. I am very proud.” On the state of tennis in his country: “Spanish tennis is going through a marvelous time. In the last 10 to 15 years, there [have been] great tennis players. There are always a couple of players in the Top 10 and because of that, since 2009, there have been only Spanish players winning this tournament.” Stanislas Wawrinka: “I think David was better today. He was a little bit stronger than me and he deserved the victory. But I'm really happy with my week. It was important to play well and win some great matches, especially the semi-final yesterday. It was a great week for me so I need to take the positives from that.”
